Day 1: Arrival Athens
After a long trip enjoy some free and relaxing time at your hotel or walk on your own to discover the area.
Day 2: Athens Sightseeing Tour and Acropolis Museums
After your breakfast you will begin with a visit to the magnificent Parthenon temple dedicated to the maiden goddess Athena, on top of Acropolis rocky hill overlooking Athens. You will continue with a visit to the New Acropolis Museum, a true architectural marvel to admire archaeological findings. Later your guide will walk you through Athens most important sites.
Day 3: Delphi Full Day Tour
Delphi is known in ancient times as the navel of the world. You will have the chance to visit the archaeological site and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle. More over you will visit the Delphi museum, with it’s spectacular exhibits include the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos the metopes of the Athenian treasury, the famous bronze Charioteer, originally created to commemorate a victory during the 476 B.C. Pythian Games.
Day 4: Athens to Santorini
Take the flight to Santorini. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and have breakfast, meet your local guide and then begin a half day tour of the beautiful Santorini Island, located in the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea.Your tour will take you to the traditional settlement of Oia overlooking the caldera promising great views for pictures. Then you will continue to Firostefani, an old village that is now part of Fira, the capital of Santorini. You’ll see the blue dome church and you’ll get a privileged view of the famous volcano. After your tour you will get back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day in leisure. Dinner and Overnight in Santorini.
Day 5: Half day Tour Santorini and Free time
Your second day in Santorini will commence with a half day tour taking you to the timeworn excavated ruins at Akrotiri. Here, stroll around the remnants of the Minoan Bronze Age settlement that was buried, and preserved by, volcanic ash as a result of a major eruption in the second millennium BC. Day 6: Santorini to Istanbul
Today it is going to be a day of traveling in order to get from Santorini to Istanbul. Upon Arrival in Istanbul you will meet your Tour Director and you will be transfered to your hotel for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7: Istanbul Half day Tour and Bosporus Cruise
Your tour today will begin with a visit the Spice Market, one of the largest bazaars in the city after the famous Grand Bazaar. Then you will get onboard your Bosporus Cruise and enjoy panoramic views of Istanbul. Disembark your vessel and travel by bus to the highest hill of Istanbul ; CAMLICA , where you have the best view of the city. See Beylerbeyi Palace , summer residence of the royal family and return to your hotel for Dinner and Ovenright.
Day 8: Istanbul Full day Tour
Today you will begin with a view of the Galata Towers a Romanesque style tower, the tallest of its era! Then you will see the Basilica Cistern the largest of the several cisterns that lay beneath Istanbul. Continue to Dolmabahce Palace which used to be the main administrative building during the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1922. The continue with view of The Blue mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia and conclude at Topkapi palace;the largest palace in Turkey and main residence of the Sultans. Last but not least the famous Grand Bazaar one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 4,000 shops. Dinner and overnight at you Hotel.
Day 9: Flight to Cappadocia
Flight to Kayseri and then travel by bus to Cappadocia . Here we begin the tour on the north side of Cappadocia. You will see Devrent Valley , Monks Valley , Fairy Chimneys , Avanos City , Open Air Museum in Goreme and Uchisar town . Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 10: Tour Cappadocia
Start the tour on the south side of Cappadocia , see the Kizilcukur valley, the village Cavusin, Kaymakli underground city , the Valley of Las Palomas. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 11: Cappadocia to Moscow
Today is another day of mostly traveling departing early from Cappadocia with final destination Moscow. Upon arrival in Moscow you will be greeted by our local representative and transfered to your hotel for Overnight.
Day 12: Half day Tour of Moscow and Cruise Moskva River
Begin your day with one of the most important site of Moscow, the Kremlin. Kremlin was once the main residence of the Russian Czsars , today is the seat of the central government of the country In the afternoon you will enjoy boating on the Moskva River. Overnight in Moscow.
Day 13: Full day Tour of Moscow
Today you will see more site of Moscow. You begin with the State Tretyakov Gallery , Russian art gallery, followed by a tour of the Moscow Metro, then enjoy a tour of the Arbat Street , a very old road and the first pedestrian street of Moscow, architectural monuments , stalls , shops with typical Russian souvenirs . Also have the option to attend the Bolshoi Theater. Overnight in Moscow.
Day 14: Moscow to St.Petersburg via Sapsan high speed train
Today you will travel from Moscow to St. Petersburg via Train. Upon arrival to St. Petersburg you will find your bus and be transferred to your hotel for overnight. Overnight in St.Petersburg.
Day 15: Full day Tour St.Petersburg
Today your touring includes St. Isaac’s Cathedral , Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, or Church of the Resurrection of Christ, the Fortress of San Pedro and San Pablo You will also see the Hermitage Museum , which houses one of the largest art galleries and museums of antiquities in the world. Overnight in St.Petersburg.
Day 16: Full day Tour St.Petersburg
Today you will begin your touring with the Catherine Palace and the House of Amber, an entire room covered with panels of amber, bright and reflecting sunlight. Later that day you will travel to the city of Petrohof. Before returning to your hotel will enjoy a boat ride through the canals.Overnight in St.Petersburg.
Day 17: Departure
Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
