A Land tour through Greece and Turkey following John’s Revelation

Welcome to the Apostle Paul and the Book of Revelation Tour! This tour is designed for those who want to explore the fascinating history of early Christianity and the influential figures who shaped the religion. Throughout this tour, you will delve into the life and teachings of Apostle Paul and explore the enigmatic book of Revelation.

You begin your Journey in Turkey. After touring in Smyrna, your Biblical tour will take you to Pergamum; see the Red Basilica, which housed the 1st Century Christian Church referred to by John in Revelation. During your tour you will also visit, Thyatira, Sardis & Philadelphia. Last but not least visit Ancient Ephesus a city that Paul visited in his 2nd & 3rd Missionary Journey. You will also have the opportunity to ferry from Kusadasi to Patmos and visit the Grotto of Revelation.

After Turkey, you will cross into Greece Begin your Journey in Macedonia, Greece. You will visit the Biblical cities of Neapolis, Philippi, and Berea, all places where Paul preached and taught. One of your highlights is the Baptistry of Lydia. It is the baptismal place of the first Christian on European Soil. You will also visit Paul’s Bema in Berea. Both sites are ideal for Bible study and prayer.

Your tour is wrapped up with Athens and Corinth, visiting the Parthenon, Mars Hill where Paul preached, and Ancient Corinth, which he visited and preached at the Bema and wrote to in his Epistle to Corinthians.

Day 1: Arrival Smyrna ( Turkey )

Today you arrive in Smyrna of Biblical times and one of the 7 Churches of Revelation. Upon arrival meet your driver and guide and transfer to your Hotel. Afternoon Smyrna tour.Dinner and overnight at your Hotel. (Smyrna Rev. 1:11; 2:8)

Day 2: Sardis, Philadelphia & Laodicea

Drive to Sardis capital of the ancient Lydia where first coin of the world is invented. See the ruins of the 1st century; Temple of Artemis, Synagogues and the Gymnasium (Rev. 1:11; 3:1-4). Continue to Alasehir to visit the ruins of the Philadelphia Church. Then drive to Laodicea and visit the new excavated areas. Visit and time for shopping at the world- famous carpet and leather shops and market. Dinner and overnight at Pamukkale. (Col 2:1; 4:13-16, Rev. 1:11; 3:14)

Day 3: Ephesus St John Basilica / Kusadasi

Visit Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Rev. 1:11).. We will visit the magnificent Library, the Agora, the huge Theater and view where the Temple of Artemis used to stand—one of the Seven Wonders of the World.. Afternoon visit to the Basilica of John. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 4: Patmos-Grotto of Revelation

Private Charter Ferry Kusadasi to Patmos. Dock in Patmos. Ι, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island of Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:9). It was here that John wrote the book of Revelation. Gather at the outdoor wooden theater right at the grotto. Back to Kusadasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Pergamon, Alexander Troas & Canakkale

This morning you leave Kusadasi and drive towards Pergamon (Rev. 1:11; 2:12). Visit the Acropolis with the steepest theater of the ancient world and the Temple of Trajan. Then visit the Red Basilica, which was an Egyptian Temple, later converted to a church in the 1st century. It is also considered as one of the Seven Churches of the Revelation. Drive to Alexandria Troas, founded by Alexander the Great. Paul visited here at least twice. Continue to Canakkale for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Border Crossing & Kavala ( Greece )

After breakfast we get on our bus and make our way towards Greece. Along the way we drive by Gallipoli. We Cross the Turkey-Greece borders and continue to Kavala built right at the place of Neapolis of the days of Paul. Tour Kavala. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Philippi & Thessaloniki

“And from there (we went) to Philippi, which is the leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. We remained in this city some days.” (Acts 16:12-18) Visit Kavala (ancient Neapolis) and the site of ancient Philippi. Continue to Thessaloniki. Now they came to Thesasalonika, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. (Acts 17:1) And Paul went in as was his custom, and for three weeks he argued with them from the scriptures, explaining and saying: “This Jesus, whom Ι proclaim to you, is the Christ”. (Acts 17:2-4) Arrival Thessaloniki, city tour including Byzantine churches, the Rotonda, St. Demetrios Church, the ancient walls where Jason’s home was located and the Agora; dinner and overnight

Day 8: Berea & Meteora

This morning we drive to Beria (Berea). The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue … (Acts 17:10-14) Visit and time for teaching at the monument of Paul in Berea, right at the place of Paul’s Bema. Continue to Meteora, visit breathtaking Monasteries.Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka

Day 9: Athens

Today we drive South, along the way we stop at Thermopylae and continue to Athens. Upon arrival we Visit Acropolis, the Propylaea, the Parthenon, and the Erectheum. We View Mars Hill where Apostle Paul stood and spoke to the Athenians (Acts 17:15-34). View the House of Parliament, the Presidential Palace & the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Dinner and overnight Athens

Day 10: Corinth,Mycenae, Nafplion

Today we visit Corinth, where Paul spent 18 months, preaching to the Jews and Gentiles and worked with Aquila and Priscilla Celebrate Mass in Ancient Corinth at the Bema of St Paul. Continue to the ancient site of Mycenas and admire the Lions Gate & Cyclopean Walls. Continue to the picturesque town of Nafplion & stop for swimming. Return to Athens for dinner and overnight.
